Our Client Service Statement

We provide tenacious and dedicated representation to clients in difficult and complex cases, and a focus on achieving for every client maximum and full value for their injuries and damages.

If you’ve been injured or if a loved one has been killed due to the negligence or wrongful acts of others, you deserve experienced committed lawyers who will be with you at every step of the way.

We are that firm.

Our Experience

Founded in 1948, we have been providing trusted legal counsel and representation to clients for more than 65 years. Our lawyers average more than 25 years of legal practice.

Our Dedication

Friedlander and Friedlander New York Injury LawyersWe are committed to vigorously pursuing the claims of our clients against all those who we believe bear legal responsibility for causing injuries, damages, and even death.

We sue powerful defendants. Defendants may include large corporations, municipalities, school districts, universities, influential people, and others. We do not have any hesitation about suing all those who may be liable to our clients. It does not matter to us whether defendants are represented by one lawyer or teams of lawyers.

We Take on Difficult Cases

We take on cases that are difficult, including those that are complicated factually and legally. Some attorneys may be reluctant to take on cases that are complex, such as those in which liability may not be absolutely clear at the outset.

This is not the case with our firm.

In real life, liability may not always be clear at the outset. Proving a client’s case may be difficult. Legal theories for liability in some cases may be untested, which may require breaking new legal grounds. We are willing to take on these types of difficult cases on behalf of our clients.

We Invest the Time and Resources Required to Advance the Cases of Our Clients and Position Cases for Success

Proving a client’s case and seeking full compensation usually requires painstaking work.

While defendants sometimes are willing to settle a case for nominal value early in litigation, the real value in successful lawyering comes from the work required to increase the value of a case so that it can be positioned for a settlement for full value to the plaintiff. This work required typically includes aspects such as detailed case investigation, accident reconstruction, witness interviews, legal research and legal theory development, negotiations for settlement, and mediation.

As the case of our clients is advanced and supported by the evidence, defendants can choose either to settle a case for an amount acceptable to our clients, or we will take the case to trial and let a judge or jury determine fault and damages.

While we can never guarantee a favorable result in any case, we can promise that we will expend the time and effort necessary, and that we will be with you at every step of the way, keeping you informed as your case progresses.
